Who is Families for Life?
Families for Life is a people-sector Council, comprising of 15 volunteers from the people and private sectors. The Council is headed by BG (Ret) Ishak Ismail, Regional Director (Asia) of BAE Systems Hägglunds AB. Families for Life Council’s vision is to build strong and resilient families because that makes for stronger communities and better individual well-being.

What activities or events does Families for Life organise?
Families for Life (FFL) organises events throughout the year with the popular year-round FFL Picnics usually held at heartland parks and community spaces and the annual FFL Celebrations to encourage family time. We also organise I Still Do, My Family Weekend and Celebrating Our Grands! annually to enrich family time.
How to register for Families for Life events?
Registration for FFL events will on the FFL website at www.familiesforlife.sg. Follow us on Facebook or sign up for our eNewsletter mailing list to be updated on start of FFL event registration.
Are there free talks that organisation or companies can sign up for?
Families for Life’s FAMILY 365 provides a suite of complimentary one to two-hour Family Life Education programmes available for workplaces and community touchpoints. The programmes cover four key areas - Family Life, Marriage, Parenting and Personal Work-Life. The programmes are conducted in English, Mandarin, Malay and Tamil. Your organisation can apply for the programmes at www.familiesforlife.sg/family-365.
There’s also a FAMILY 365+ initiative which comprise a suite of programmes to equip families with more in-depth knowledge and specialised skills in the areas of elder care and health. The range of 1 to 2.5 hour programmes will be conducted by experts and certified trainers. Find out more at www.familiesforlife.sg/family-365plus.
