Now that Singapore is on the map for the Formula 1 night race, why not carry the celebration over into Father’s Day by taking dad for a Go-Kart race?
Go-Karting is full of thrills and turns just like that of a Formula 1 race. The courses are laid out like a typical race track. Even in the fun kart category, you get to drive at up to 50 km per hour in a 200cc four-stroke engine with 5.5 horsepower. Get the whole family to participate in races of up to 10 karts on the track at a time.
There are just a few go-kart tracks in Singapore. Most courses host serious competitor level events as well as fun kart experiences for first timers or casual participants. Safety briefings and equipment are a necessary part of the experience and height and age restrictions do apply.
Kartright Speedway is at 511 Upper Jurong Road. This track features a 750m long and 7m wide technically challenging racing track. In addition to single fun karts for rent, they also have double karts which are ideal if you have younger children who would like to participate, but do not meet the minimum height or age requirements.
KF1 Karting Circuit is located at 1 Turf Club Avenue. It features a 960m course designed by world famous track circuit designer Herman Tilke. They offer 2 models of Fun Karts for single drivers.
