While there are different views on whether eating a big breakfast is effective at losing weight, the verdict that breakfast is important in maintaining good health in the long run is pretty unanimous.

Understandably, staying in tip-top health is at the topmost of everyone’s mind these days – who can scroll through anything on social media without news of Covid-19 popping up? If you’re working from home more frequently, now is the perfect time to spend a bit more time in the kitchen with your little ones whipping up a healthy breakfast that they will approve of too!

These are actually Vietnamese crepes known as Bánh xèo, and they’re rice flour pancakes that are light and hearty all at once.

Goji berries, also known as wolfberries, are a common sight in many of our kitchens. We use them for soups, for stir-fries, and now, we can use them to make breakfast cookies!

There has been a recent wave of interest in this humble ingredient for their nutritional value: they are a good source of Vitamin C, Vitamin A, fibre, iron and other antioxidants.

This breakfast is a glorious perk-me-up that will put a spring in your step when you roll out of bed in the morning. Açaí bowls are such fun to put together because you’re practically only limited by what you have in your fridge!

The unassuming açaí berry with a blackberry-chocolate flavour hails from the Amazonian rainforest and is known for its many health benefits. Fans of this unassuming little berry love it for its strong antioxidant properties, its immense nutrient density and its possible positive effect on cholesterol levels.
