Chinese New Year events at the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre

Gather the family and learn more about the Chinese New Year (CNY) festival while having fun! Experience Moo Moo Park, a drive-through exhibition where you can enjoy artworks inspired by the Year of the Ox, on foot or in an electric car! While there, visit the “Singapo人” exhibition that tells you all about CNY customs, and participate in the activities there to get “talking” red packets that are animated by augmented reality technology.

Chinatown Chinese New Year 2021 Celebrations

This year, enjoy the festivities and soak in the sights at the annual Chinatown street light-up from the comfort of your home. The annual Chinatown CNY festival will shift online this year, starting with the Official Light-up and Opening Ceremony that will be live-streamed on the Chinatown Festivals Facebook page. Other online activities include short films and giveaways on the Chinatown Festivals’ website and social media pages.

Wan Qing Festival of Spring 2021

Usher in the Year of the Ox and get into the mood for Chinese New Year at the Wan Qing Festival of Spring 2021. Start your visit with a photo memory with the Double Prosperity ‘Foo Dou’ Guardian Lions installation. Then keep the young ones busy with activities like the Children’s Lion Dance and Festive Chinese Drums workshops and craft sessions. Finally, round up your visit by exploring the neighbourhood through the Balestier heritage walking trail.

Star Wars Identities Exhibition

The Force is strong at this exhibition with over 200 original items from the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art archive. This includes original movie props, costumes, models, and artwork from the original Star Wars trilogy, the prequels, the animated series Star Wars. The fans in your family can create unique Star Wars characters, learn more about the creative process of movie-making, or follow iconic characters to see the personal choices that shaped their identities.

Super Nintendo World Virtual Tour

Tour the new Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Japan the theme park in Osaka without having to hop on a plane!
