Baby's lungs are nearly developed and your precious one is spending a lot of time sleeping now.

What's happening to your baby?

Your honeydew melon-sized darling is getting chubbier by the day. Baby currently weighs about 1.9 to 2.4kg and is 40 to 50cm long. Your precious one is in a deep sleeping and waking routine now. You can try talking and singing to your baby, as this helps with bonding.

What's happening to you?

Some people will be telling you to stock up on sleep as much as possible before your baby arrives, but you'll find that that's easier said than done! Not only are the physical symptoms inhibiting your sleep, but you may also find yourself a little anxious about the coming birth. It's natural to feel this way, particularly with your first pregnancy. It helps to talk about your feelings and concerns with your partner, family and friends. Talking to your doctor will also help as he can answer any questions or worries you might have. When you do feel better, try to get some shut-eye and let your body rest.
