"Mummy, why do birds fly?" "What are clouds made of?" "Can I tell you about my dream?"

If it feels like your preschooler never stops talking, you're not alone. Between the ages of three and five, children are eager to communicate, ask questions, share stories, and explore their growing understanding of the world. Their expanding vocabulary, active imagination, and endless curiosity often mean there is always something on their minds.

While the constant chatter can sometimes feel overwhelming, these conversations are valuable opportunities to strengthen your relationship with your child and support their emotional, social, and language development.
