Families For Life | AMP Singapore - Marriage Preparation Programme

This course aims to equip couple with the knowledge and skills, strong and lasting foundation for their relationship. It covers communication, conflict resolution, understanding individual needs and navigating family dynamics. It also delves into practical aspects of marriage such as managing finances and family planning. Ultimately, it strives to deepen couples’ understanding of each other and foster a more connected fulfilling partnership through its endurance values of peace, loving and care.

What you will learn:

• Collaborative family vision that is based on love, care and mutual respect

• Exploring how family background differences and personality differences influence relationship dynamic and thus learning how to effectively communicate needs and resolve disagreement through mutual respect and care perspective

• Addressing practical needs of a marriage like financial management, family planning, helps couple prepare for their future.

Who is this programme for:

Age: 21 years and above

Nationality: At least one spouse is a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident

Marriage Duration: Soon-to-wed or newly-wed couples (married less than 2 years)

Format: Group, 1 session x 6 hours
