This Marriage Preparation Programme, based on the evidence-based Prevention and Relationship Education Programme (PREP), equips couples with practical tools and insights to build a strong, lasting relationship. Through interactive sessions, real-life scenarios, and guided reflection, couples explore key aspects of marriage including communication, expectations, conflict resolution, and emotional connection. The programme is experiential, skills-based, and tailored to support couples as they prepare for a meaningful and committed life together.

What you will learn:

• Effective communication using the Speaker-Listener Technique

• Tools to manage conflict and reduce danger signs

• Understanding expectations and hidden issues

• Skills for emotional regulation and stress management

• Building fun, friendship, and long-term commitment

Who is this programme for:

Age: 21 years and above

Nationality: At least one spouse is a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident

Marriage Duration: Soon-to-wed or newly-wed couples (married less than 2 years)
