Terms and Conditions

1.  By clicking on the "I have Read and Agree" button on the Registration Form, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions set forth by Families for Life.

2.  Eligibility

2.1  The event is open to all Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents residing in Singapore.

3.  Registration

3.1  Registration for event

3.1.1  Registration can be submitted via online URL Family Time Precious Time @ EV Registation. 

3.1.2  A confirmation Email/SMS will be sent to the successfully registered families stating that the registrant and his/her family members can attend the event.

3.1.3  If for any reason the registration is incapable of running as planned, whether caused by infection by computer virus, mobile phone failure, line drop out, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Organiser which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the Competition, the Organiser reserves the right in its sole discretion, (subject to any written direction given by a relevant Regulatory Authority), to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the registration. The Organiser may in its sole discretion disqualify any individual who tampers with the registration process.

3.2  Registration for Programmes and Activities

3.2.1  All activities are free. On-site registration at the event is required for movie screening, food decoration classes and family workout sessions. Registration will start at 2.30pm and is on a first-come-first-served basis. Registration is non-transferable and will close once all the available slots are taken up.

3.2.2  Registration is not required for all other programmes and activities.

3.2.3  Participation in all programmes and activities is on a first-come-first-served basis.

3.3  Incomplete entries will be rejected by Organiser at any point in time during the registration period. The Organiser’s decision is final. No registrant will have the right to challenge the Organiser’s decision. The Organiser is not obliged to give any reasons for its decision, and will not engage in any conversation or correspondence with any person regarding its decision.

3.4  The Organiser reserves the right to verify the validity of all registrations and to disqualify any registrant for tampering with the registration process such as submitting a registration that is not in accordance with the terms and conditions.

4.  Conditions for Valid Registrations and Rejection of Invalid Registrations

4.1  Please comply with the following requirements for the registration to be valid:

4.1.1  Meet the eligibility requirements set out in paragraph 2 and 3 above.

4.1.2  The registration must not contain any language which is pornographic, obscene, sexually suggestive, racist, in some manner offensive to a particular group or individual, or otherwise deemed inappropriate by the Organisers.

4.1.3  The Organiser reserves the right to reject (and if necessary, remove) any registrations it deems to be in violation of paragraphs 2 and 3 above. Its decision is final. No registrants will have the right to challenge the Organiser’s decision. The Organiser is not obliged to inform the registrants of its decision, to give any reasons for its decision, and will not engage in any conversation or correspondence with any person regarding its decision.

5.  Admission

5.1  The event is open to all successful registrants and their families.

5.2  This is a rain or shine event. The event programme will run as scheduled unless otherwise advised. In the event of heavy rain, all outdoor activities will be shifted indoors.

5.3  The event organiser shall not be liable for any postponement or cancellation of any activities or delays caused by any queues including but not limited to time delays and delays to participate in any activities.

6.  Disclaimer of Liability, Indemnity, and Governing Law

6.1  The Organiser will not be responsible for, and need not consider, lost, late, illegible, misdirected, incomplete or garbled registration, no matter what the reason for the registrations being lost, late, illegible etc. The reasons may include, but are not limited to technical, hardware, software, telephone or Internet functioning issues, virus contamination, network or human errors, howsoever caused, including through the Organiser’s negligence.

6.2  The Organiser will not use your personal information contained herein for any purposes other than which is deemed necessary for the administration of this contest whilst according your privacy or confidentiality the highest priority.

6.3  Except for death and personal injury resulting from the Organiser’s negligence, the Organiser disclaims all liability for any loss or damage of any nature whatsoever suffered by the registrant which arises from or is connected to his or her participation in the registration.

6.4  The registrants shall indemnify and hold harmless the Organiser against:

(a)  any claim or action by any person for loss or damage arising from or which is connected to the registrant’s participation in the registration;

(b)  any claim or action by any person for infringement of any intellectual property rights, which infringement arises from or is connected to the registrant’s participation in the registration;

(c)  any loss or damage suffered by the Organiser arising from the registrant’s participation in the registration.

6.5  These terms and conditions shall be subject to, governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore for every purpose and the Singapore courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from the said terms and conditions.

7.  Personal Data

7.1  It is deemed that all registered participants have consented to the collection, use and/or disclosure of your personal particulars by the Families for Life for the purposes of organizing this event, and/ or uses by  for analysis and research purposes pertaining only to matters in relation to such events/ programmes.

7.2  All registered participants will be included into the contact lists belonging to Families for Life to receive regular updates on future engagement events and programmes organized by Families for Life, as well as opportunities to contribute, share opinions and/or acquire feedback through any of the contacts provided through any means.

7.3  Please update Families for Life of any changes in email address or contact details so as to facilitate communication, by emailing EnablingVillage@familiesforlife.sg.

7.4  Any photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other media records of this event may be used by Families for Life for any legitimate purpose, including any commercial and marketing uses, and/ or to be uploaded onto Families for Life public sites and channels. In the event that registered participants do not wish for his/her photographs and/ or any other media records of him/ her at this event to be used by Families for Life, please inform and provide clear instructions to Families for Life in writing by email EnablingVillage@familiesforlife.sg.
