Set sail as a family to discover our naval history at the Navy Museum. Be enthralled by the
exhibits as well as the naval combat simulation.
Here you can learn about how the Singapore Navy began, see guns from early warships such as the RSS Panglima and learn about the challenge and living conditions our early sailors experienced.
The combat simulations are especially fun! Both young and old can try taking out simulated enemy targets with Navy weaponry and even learn to navigate a ship through the Singapore Strait and steer a submarine underwater. You can also see and learn more about the Navy’s exciting Underwater Warfare and Submarine Technology.
More serious topics such as the Navy’s role in protecting Singapore’s shores and the many foreign operations such as the 2004 Tsunami in Aceh, Indonesia and the 2009 Counter-Piracy exercise in the Gulf of Aden where the Singapore Navy has provided overseas and humanitarian assistance are also showcased.
