Hock Choon Tan shared a creative and green project with Dads for Life Toolbox that allows families to work together to design something new out of something old.

“My idea for Dads and Kids is to take an old piece of furniture and remodel it into something unique and personal. Put some designs on it (whether words or pictures), paint it with acrylic and finish up with a varnish. This way, an old table can become a unique work and study table for the family.

Dads and Kids will love this because it’s fun and kids will get to actively participate in “adult” stuff like painting. Best of all, they get to see and use the end result of all their hard work.”
