Visit the S'pore Discovery Centre for an immersive and interactive day. In addition to a focus on how Singapore has developed as a nation-state and Singapore’s vision, hopes and aspirations for the future, the Discovery Centre is also home to many interesting activities which the whole family can enjoy.
The Galleries
Walk through the Gateway, So Singapore, Singapore Works, Singapore Way and the Visionarium galleries to get a sense of what makes Singapore unique. Exhibits are interactive and give a glimpse of what the future of Singapore could be.
Big Screen Movies
The S'pore Discovery Centre has giant 5 storey high 2D and 3D movie screens featuring state of the art sound systems. The movie theatre has a seating capacity for 344 and screens movies on Singapore topics as well as selected popular movies.
Simulators and Simulations
A variety of simulated experiences await you at the Singapore Discovery Centre. Take a ride on their 4D simulator, or practice your shooting skills at the 4 lane computerised air rifle shooting range where you can try out the modified SAR21 rifle or SIG SAUER P226 pistols.
Pedal Boating
Rent a pedal boat and enjoy an afternoon on the Discovery Lake. Do note that pedal boats are only available on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
Admission
The S'pore Discovery Centre is open from 9am to 6pm on Tuesdays to Sundays. Admission is free for Singaporeans and Permanent Residents.
