If your family isn’t a huge fan of sweating it out in the sun, Leisure Park Kallang is the place to be. Rally the family for a mini tournament smashing the pins at Kallang Bowl , or take a slow glide across the ice and relish the cool “weather” at Kallang Ice World —either way, you’re set for a cool day of family fun. Best part? Activities can go on, rain or shine.

A wheel-ly good time for cyclists and skaters

With its mini-ramp, low rails and small street obstacles, the Stadium Skatepark , located at the National Stadium, is the perfect place for beginning skaters to practise. But if you’re looking for something to involve the whole family, try hopping on bicycles to explore the Kallang Basin, or the Kallang Riverside Park —where you can go on the hunt for the bright pink Bougainvillaeas for your Instagram family photo!

Cool off at Splash N’ Surf

Have a splashing good time at Splash N’ Surf , a mini waterpark located on the rooftop of Kallang Wave Mall! Adrenaline junkies will have a blast bodyboarding and skimboarding at Stingray, while those who enjoy a slower pace can soak in the sights floating along the Lazy River. And for families with younger children, there is the kids pool and water-play area designed especially for children between the ages of three and 12 years old.

Fees apply for the Lazy River and Stingray, but entering the kids pool and water-play area is free!

Take a trip down Singapore’s history at the Singapore Sports Museum to relive our glory days and trace the stories of heroes like swimmer Ang Peng Siong and footballer Fandi Ahmad. Or if you’ve got a cycling enthusiast in the family, venture over to Shimano Cycling World to enjoy the exhibitions and interactive displays of bicycles over the years.

Fuel up for an active day in Kallang with something truly traditional: Head down Heap Seng Leong for some good old kaya toast, and an authentic mug of butter coffee, or Kopi Gu You.

Then, when you’re done for the day, wrap up the adventures with a meal at Old Airport Road Food Centre—a place where you’ll find everything from local favourites like prawn mee and Char Kuay Teow, to Japanese fare and Thai cuisine.
