Free admission, pre-registration is required before event day. Please present your email confirmation at the Registration Booth on event day.

Pack your picnic mat and basket, and join us with your family, including extended families (grandparents, aunties & uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews) at the Families for Life National Day Picnic @ Marina Barrage! To celebrate National Day, families can expect lots of fun-filled NDP themed family activities such as Acrobatic Kite Performance, Large Kite Flying Display, Glitter Tattoo Art, NDP Binocular, FFL NDP edition Photo Booth, Parent and Child Zumba exercise as well as be entertained by National Day Sing-Along Medley! Families are encouraged to dress in red and/or white as part of our celebration.

Register as a family now and receive a token (FFL Glow stick, mini Singapore Flag and Frisbee) and event pass from us. Last redemption by 7.30pm.

First 300 families who successfully participate in any 3 activities stated in the event pass can redeem a FFL picnic mat (on a first-come-first-served basis, while stocks last at the event).

Highlights:

• Preview of National Day Fireworks
Grab a good spot at the roof garden to view the Singapore skyline, and watch the sky burst into colours which is happening at the far end of Gardens by the Bay. Enjoy the spectacular fireworks from afar!

• DIY Merlion Craft (Special Stage Activity)
Join this special stage activity at 6.20pm to make the DIY Merlion craft together. Families can collect the craft materials by 5.00pm at Green Roof (besides stage).

• Families for Life National Day Picnic
Make this picnic a memorable one! Prepare your favourite food to picnic with your family at Marina Barrage! Share photos of your family enjoying the fun family activities at the picnic on Facebook/Instagram and hashtag #FamiliesforLife and #IChooseFamilyTime.

• Large Kite Flying Display, Acrobatic Kite Performance & Kite Making**
Enjoy acrobatic kite flying performance on the day of event! There will also be large kite flying display for you and your families to snap a picture and record down the fun memories! Families can also let your creative juices flow with personalized National Day kites at the kite making workshop.


• Families for Life Bouncy Castles & Mobile Cafe
The bouncy castles are always the hot favourites with the kids! So bring on down the kids to enjoy the fun and at the same time, come by our FFL mobile café for complimentary snacks and drinks and look out for the hourly specials! Don’t forget to try out the family Jigsaw Puzzle and Tic Tac Toe.

• Families for Life Photobooth
Remember to capture your family fun! There’s a roving photographer as well as a photo booth to make this picnic a truly memorable family time!

• NDP Fan Painting**
Paint and design a Fan in your own unique way together as a family!


• NDP Binoculars**
Participate in this workshop with your family to learn how to create and paint your own handmade binoculars where you can then use them for sight-seeing!


• Glitter Tattoo Art**
In the spirit of the upcoming National day, get your own customised tattoo art as an expression for your love for Singapore!

• Parent and Child Zumba Session
Get active by sweating it out in an upbeat Zumba workout hosted by Health Promotion Board, grab your families and get dancing!

• National Day Sing-Along Medley
Join us for a time of celebration at the 54th National Day Sing-Along Medley.
