Singapore Patient Conference is a dedicated platform where patients, caregivers, volunteers, partners, and professionals come together to share their care journeys and spark new ideas in co-creating a better health and social care system for all.

Into its 8th year, SPC is a dedicated conference with a difference – one where our patients, caregivers, volunteers, community partners and healthcare professionals come together to share their healthcare journey and spark new ideas in co-creating a better healthcare system for all. SPC 2020 is organised by Tan Tock Seng Hospital’s Centre for Health Activation, in partnership with National Healthcare Group (NHG), NHG Polyclinics, Institute of Mental Health and Yishun Health.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, SPC 2020 will be presented online for the first time via our dedicated Facebook page. The event will run in the form of an active online campaign lasting from August 2020 till February 2021. Themed ‘Building a Community of Carers’, SPC 2020 will examine the vital role of care in the community amidst the changing health and social care climate. We aspire to activate the community to take care of their health, build team camaraderie, and celebrate the good work done within neighbourhoods. In the months leading up to the main event day, we have prepared a series of content and fringe activities via Facebook Lives, featured stories, downloadable collaterals and social media challenges that will spark meaningful conversations towards building happier and healthier communities. The ongoing online engagement will culminate on the main event day, 6th November, where we will be livestreaming plenary discussions, performances, and other event highlights. SPC 2020 will be complemented by the 6th edition of Singapore Patient Action Awards (SPAA), where we recognise and celebrate the commendable efforts of unsung heroes in the health and social sectors.
