The support from employers and community partners is critical in signalling the importance of family in Singapore's society. Schools and pre-school centres will be closed on Teachers' Day 31 August, Friday and employers can do their part to put in place family-friendly workplace options on this day to support family time.
The annual My Family Weekend is back starting from 31 August, Friday to 2 September, Sunday and presents a great opportunity for all employers to show support towards building family-friendly workplaces and strong families in Singapore. SPD Ability Walk 2018 is the 3rd walk that SPD is organising to raise funds in aid of its programmes and services. Participants will get to hear first-hand from leading family-friendly Swedish companies such as Spotify, Ericsson, AstraZeneca and Atlas Copco on harnessing their workplace policies to support their employees and their family lives to foster motivation and positivity in the workplace.
