'I Still Do' 2021

The journey to marriage and a lasting matrimony may have its highs and lows, peace and storms; but the promise to love and care for each other is everlasting.

Organised by Families for Life (FFL), 'I Still Do' is an annual campaign that celebrates love and marriage. This year’s campaign will run from Feb to Apr 2021, and FFL is inviting all couples to join us in this season of love and joy. Look forward to an interesting line-up of enriching online programmes, workshops and resources for both the dating and married couples. We will also be sharing useful dating and marriage tips, as well as bonding activities that couples can participate and enjoy together.

We spoke with 5 newlywed couples as recount their journey together and initial concerns about holding a wedding during the pandemic. Find out how and why they changed their views, and eventually took the leap of faith with their wedding day, to begin a meaningful season of life together.

The marriage journey is a long haul, where couples discover, rediscover, learn, relearn, love and be loving all over again. A blissful marriage requires a firm foundation and it takes commitment, conscientious effort and communication.

Here are some programmes to help you understand issues relating to marriage, and skills to help you and your partner prepare life together as husband and wife.




  

PREP 12-hour Workshop

Prevention and Relationship Education Programme (PREP) is an evidence-based marriage and relationship education programme. It is designed based on over 30 years of research in US that aims to help soon-to-wed and newly-wed couples to:

  • Improve communication and problem-solving skills;
  • Attain higher relationship satisfaction; and
  • Develop better conflict resolution skills

This workshop is conducted over the weekend (2 days) and is suitable for couples preparing to get married or have been married for less than 2 years. You will receive a $140 rebate upon completion of the PREP 12-hour workshop.
